The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with a working knowledge of upkeep and maintenance of various systems related to a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager.What You'll Be Doing:Maintain property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through execution of preventive maintenance programMaintain organization's physical operations including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systemsComplete fire and safety inspections as assigned to ensure property is following all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulationsGain and maintain knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skillsPerform other related duties as assigned by management.Experience and Education RequirementsTwo to three years of related experience and/or trainingComputer skills required:Spreadsheet Software (Excel)Inventory SoftwareProject Management softwareWord Processing software (Word)Email Software (Outlook)MMS (Maintenance Management Software)Desired SkillsTwo to three years of maintenance technician experience.Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.Electrical troubleshooting ability up to 480VWorking knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment.Ability to keep track of and report on activity.Problem-solving skills.Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.What We OfferPaid holidays and generous paid time offA supportive work environment built on collaboration, teamwork, and respectWeekly PayLife insurance plan at no charge to the employee.Quarterly Bonus Plan401(k) plan with company matchingBeing a part of the Tommy Gate TeamAt Tommy Gate, we foster a culture of collaboration where your ideas are valued and your growth is paramount.
