Job Title: Operations Supervisor Location: USA – Hainesport, Marne Highway Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time POSITION SUMMARY The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising labor management and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communications. Key duties include hiring, training, performance appraisals, and resolving performance issues. The Supervisor ensures that receiving, warehousing and shipping of products meet the company’s service and cost objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct staff meetings to review daily and weekly work activities and drive continuous improvement. Inform senior management and client representatives of critical operational issues. Develop systems and procedures for safe and profitable operations; ensure compliance with company policies and client agreements. Implement cost‑saving measures and provide improvement suggestions. Meet client‑specified KPIs and quality system requirements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques; supervise, counsel and, when necessary, discipline team members. Support HR with hiring, training, professional development and performance evaluation. Oversee training and evaluation of warehouse staff. Plan daily work schedules based on work orders, arrival notices and customer instructions. Review job trends and plan warehouse space re‑organization, supply, equipment or staffing adjustments. Train new staff and evaluate trainee progress. Provide guidance on quantity and quality of jobs during the day. Assign supervisory duties to experienced staff serving as leads for lower‑level workers. Maintain communication with the Manager regarding progress or problems. Hold regular meetings with staff to assess status, discuss improvement ideas and share new developments. Assist with physical operations when needed. Deliver results by leveraging the right people at the right time. Maintain high motivation levels and focus on customer satisfaction. Provide ongoing growth and development opportunities, and conduct annual performance reviews. Support adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for corporate and client requirements. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education & Experience High‑school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution or a related environment. Minimum 1 year supervisory experience. Preferred: MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). RF scanner usage. WMS functions. Language Skills English – reading, writing, verbal. Business communication proficiency. Mathematical Skills Basic to intermediate skills to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties involving handling, storing and distributing client products. Other Skills Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timely completion of tasks. Excellent organizational and personnel skills. Effective written and oral communication. Leadership, supervision and planning capabilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends. Cross‑training participation and readiness to support backup roles. Adaptability to change in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs. Capability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary: $70,000 – $74,000 annually (actual compensation based on experience, skills, education and location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy).
