Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. The role requires strong assessment skills and a positive attitude to support patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care with attention to detail and accurate assessment of condition changes.
• Interpret and respond to telemetry rhythm strips, ensuring patient stability.
• Perform procedures such as PICC line removal and vas cath removals following protocol.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate care and ensure adherence to unit policies.
• Maintain patient safety through hourly rounding, bedside shift reports, and clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid active license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Hold BLS and ACLS certifications prior to submission.
• Demonstrate a strong nursing background with basic telemetered rhythm interpretation skills.
• Show flexibility, dependability, and excellent communication skills.
• Have experience working in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting.
• Preferably have Meditech system familiarity and advanced monitoring skills.
