Summary

The Provider Recruitment & Engagement Supervisor oversees a team responsible for recruiting, engaging, and retaining dental providers participating in California’s Medi-Cal Dental program. This role leads provider outreach strategies, monitors program effectiveness, develops client-facing reporting, and serves as a key liaison between providers, clients, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines leadership experience, provider network knowledge, analytical skills, and a passion for improving provider participation and engagement.

Your role in our mission

• Lead and develop a team responsible for provider recruitment and engagement activities, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee initiatives designed to recruit, engage, and retain Medi-Cal Dental providers throughout California.
• Monitor outreach and engagement efforts, evaluating program effectiveness and recommending enhancements based on performance metrics, stakeholder feedback, and program objectives.
• Direct the development of routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and presentations for clients and leadership.
• Analyze provider recruitment and engagement trends, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Ensure reporting deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with contractual requirements and client expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for provider outreach, recruitment, engagement initiatives, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with internal departments, clients, providers, and community partners to support network growth and provider participation goals.
• Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness, reporting accuracy, and provider experience.
• Support strategic projects and special initiatives related to provider network development and engagement.

What we're looking for

• 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare, dental insurance, managed care, provider network management, provider relations, provider recruitment, outreach, communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of supervisory, team leadership experience.
• Experience developing reports, presentations, executive summaries, and client-facing communications.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, tracking performance metrics, identifying trends, and developing recommendations.
• Experience using CRM platforms, outreach tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with providers, clients, and leadership teams.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you should expect in this role

• This is a hybrid position based in Roseville, CA with two days in office per week required in the office.
• While this is a hybrid role, candidates may be required to work onsite in Roseville, CA, during orientation and onboarding.
• Onsite frequency may be revised in the future based on business needs.
• This position provides opportunities for quarterly work-related travel throughout California.
• Candidates are required to have their video camera on during all interviews.

The pay range for this position is $70,304 - $85,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
