About the Role As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with classroom teachers, behavioral staff, and support professionals to implement individualized instructional and behavioral programs based on each student's unique needs. Candidates with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavioral intervention, data collection, and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities Support teachers and behavioral staff in implementing individualized instructional and behavioral programsProvide one-on-one and small-group academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supportImplement ABA-based strategies and behavior intervention techniques as directed by the student's treatment or educational teamAssist students in developing communication, social, emotional, academic, and independent living skillsCollect and document behavioral and academic data as requiredHelp students generalize learned skills across classroom and school environmentsUse positive reinforcement and evidence-based behavioral strategies to encourage appropriate behaviors and student engagementHelp maintain a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environmentEncourage student independence, confidence, and participation in school activitiesMaintain open communication with teachers, behavioral staff, and other members of the educational team regarding student progress and behavioral goals

What We're Looking For Candidates who are available to start ASAP Previous experience working with children or students with special needsExperience implementing ABA strategies or working in an ABA-based setting strongly preferredExperience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs preferredFamiliarity with behavior data collection, positive reinforcement, prompting, and skill acquisition strategiesStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain patient, flexible, consistent, and supportive in a fast-paced educational environmentPassion for helping students develop academic, behavioral, social, and independent living skills
