Works collaboratively within the branch and through various channels with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives. Responsibilities Welcome and guide customers as they walk into the branch lobby; offer advice and guidance on available digital and self‑serve options. Conduct client conversations about banking services to recommend alternative banking channels and provide personal banking and investment advice. Meet customer transaction‑based needs with seamless execution and review customer profiles to engage in needs‑based conversations. Identify and refer opportunities that grow the customer’s relationship with BMO beyond personal banking. Integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice. Support operational activities such as inventory management, escalated service requests, following up on customer applications, filing, opening and closing activities. Maintain accuracy and completeness of work information and find creative approaches to make each customer experience feel personal. Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard customers’ assets, maintain privacy, and act in the best interest of customers. Identify and report suspicious patterns of activity related to money laundering. Complete complex tasks and analyze issues to determine next steps, escalating as required. Qualifications Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience. Canada only: Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months). Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience. Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions. Proficient with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications. Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication, organization, collaboration, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Self‑starter, resourceful, confident, and able to approach customers. Salary & Benefits Salary: $41,714.00 – $50,500.00 (Salaried). BMO offers health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
