Stone Mason PositionLakeside Renovation & Design is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced stone mason who is looking to continue to grow and hone their craft. Our ideal candidate will have a base knowledge of all aspects of residential construction as well as broad experience using industry standard construction tools and installing the latest construction materials to the products best practice. The candidate must have the ability to manage day in and day out customer expectations, keep a safe and clean jobsite, and work with a team of 1-2 others.Reports to: Assigned Lead Carpenter/Project ManagerJob Summary: Stone Masons are responsible for coordinating and completing the work of a job with an assigned crew according to a scope and schedule drafted by the Project Manager while simultaneously delivering Lakesides Values and Mission to redeem the culture and experience of the construction industry.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Installation of architectural cut stone (granite, marble, limestone, sandstone) & related support steel & anchorsErection of stone masonry dry-stacked wallsTuckpointing, caulking, masonry cleaningStone repairs including dutchman and various types of fracture repairsUse proper materials and equipmentEnsure a safe working environment for self, other employees, and customersPrepare each work environment with appropriate equipment to protect customers' property, furniture, and homeProperly clean up after every job and properly dispose of any materialsAdditional duties not listed in the job description may be assignedRequirementsQualifications:2+ years of relevant experienceMust have a valid driver's licenseAbility to handle heavy lifting and laborAbility to stand for long periodsMust be able to pass a drug screen and background check (or have proper medical card?)?Must be willing to commute to jobs within the St. Louis Metropolitan areaBenefits:Negotiable salaryMedical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), FSA optionsCompany paid Life Insurance policiesPTO & Paid holidaysDetailed plans & notes before you walk onto a projectFully stocked trailers with top notch toolsLogistics team to make sure you have everything you need when you need it
