Position Summary: Looking for a flexible, on-campus job where you can build skills and work with a great team? Join the LoboCaf! We're a friendly, fast-paced environment focused on great customer service and quality food and drinks. As a Barista/Caf Team Member, you'll get hands-on experience in all areas of caf operations, from making drinks and helping customers to supporting food prep and events. A food handler's license is required (training will be provided at no cost).
What You'll Do:
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, helpful service
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Make coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Help prepare food items using caf kitchen equipment
- Keep the caf clean (dishes, wiping surfaces, sweeping, etc.)
- Follow basic food safety and sanitation practices
- Help with catering orders and campus events
- Assist with setup and cleanup for events
Minimum Qualifications: Equivalencies not found for this position
Preferred Qualifications: Cashiering experience, must have Work Study Award, friendly, reliable, and a team player, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and customer service skills, able to lift up to 25 lbs, food service experience is a plus
