Summary Responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used cars. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean interior and exterior of vehicles. Wax and buff exterior of vehicles. Vacuum and clean vehicle upholstery. Clean engine. Paint engine. Apply touch‑up paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle. Maintain CSI at or above Company standards. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Participate in required training. Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system. Follow Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrate the Company's Core Values. Comply with Company policies and procedures. Observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Other duties as assigned. Ability to operate equipment to perform detailing functions. Certificates and Licenses Valid Driver’s License Automobile Salesperson License Computer Skills Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Communication Skills Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel. Attendance Expectations The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Environment Demands Work performed in wet (non‑weather) and outdoor conditions, primarily in a designated detailing area. Duties include frequent movement in and out of cars, contact with vehicle cleaning and painting products, and limited interaction with customers. Verbal and Writing Ability Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Math Ability Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
