About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - 3+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit settings - Experience in cardiac monitoring - Rural or small facility experience preferred License: - Valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact license is required Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Active American Heart Association ACLS certification Must-Have: - Basic dysrhythmia test completed and documented - Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit specialties. Candidates must be comfortable working in each of these specialties. The role involves working independently and is suited for those who can hit the ground running. Experience in a small or rural facility is preferred. The patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics. The Registered Nurse will work with a patient ratio of 5:1, depending on acuity. Higher acuity Progressive Care Unit patients will have a ratio of 3:1 or 4:1. The position requires the ability to fulfill scheduling requests, which must be made at the time of submission. Travelers must be available for two blocks of scheduled holidays, including Thanksgiving through the following weekend and Christmas through the following weekend. All requests for time off must be noted and verified upon submission. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be considered.
