Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Ahmedabad India. Ahmedabad is a great clean city, amazing infrastructure, low cost of living, wonderful new apartments, safe and more. The Network Engineer will work with software engineers to design, implement and verify Netops Automations including the most advanced Root Cause and Correlation Engine in the world patents filed created by ExGoogle PhD. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, as well as monitoring performance, capacity, and reliability across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role involves collaborating with software engineering, DevOps, and security teams to support new product deployments, integrations, and customer environments, including multi-vendor network topologies. The Network Engineer will create and maintain detailed network documentation, contribute to automation and tooling, participate in on-call rotations for incident response, and drive continuous improvements in network resilience and observability. Qualifications CCIE - working with customers and NetAI Engineering to connect the dots Strong foundation in network engineering concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, and network segmentation. Hands‑on experience configuring and managing enterprise‑grade routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs from multiple vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet). Proficiency with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump, NetFlow/sFlow tools, SNMP‑based monitoring, NMS solutions). Experience supporting hybrid environments, including data center networking, cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP VPC/VNet), and connectivity between on‑premises and cloud. Knowledge of network security best practices, including access control, firewall policies, VPNs, IPS/IDS concepts, and secure network design principles. Familiarity with automation and scripting for network operations (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools). Experience working with or supporting ITSM tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
