Assembly Supervisor

Areyouahands-onmanufacturingleaderwhoknowshowtokeepproductionmoving,solveproblemsonthefloor,anddevelopastrongteam?We'relookingforan AssemblySupervisor totakeownershipofday-to-dayassemblyoperationswhileensuringproductiongoalsaremetsafely,efficiently,andtothehighestqualitystandards.
ReportingtothePlantManager,you'llworkcloselywithProductionScheduling,Engineering,andotherdepartmentstocoordinateassemblyactivities,prepareequipmentandproductionlines,trainemployees,andtroubleshootissuesthatcouldimpactproduction. WhatYou'llDo- Superviseandcoordinateassemblysetup,sample,andoperatorpersonnel.
- CoordinatedailyassemblyschedulesandprioritieswiththeProductionScheduler.
- Ensureassemblylinesareproperlysetupaccordingtoworkorders,specifications,andestablishedprocedures.
- Confirmthenecessaryequipment,tooling,materials,andsuppliesareavailabletocompletescheduledassemblyjobs.
- Trainandcoachemployeesonproperequipmentsetup,operation,andrequiredmaintenance.
- Providehands-onsupportwhenproductionorequipmentissuesarise.
- Reviewworkorders,blueprints,billsofmaterials(BOMs),routers,andsetup/operatorinstructionstoensurecustomerspecificationsaremet.
- ModifyBOMsandrouterswhenmanufacturingorassemblyroutingchangesarerequired.
- Monitorassemblyoperationsforquality,productivity,andsafety.
- Identifyproduction,equipment,orprocessissuesandworkwiththeappropriateteamstoresolvethem.
- Evaluateemployeeperformance,providefeedback,andaddressperformanceconcernswhennecessary.
- PartnerwithProductionPlanning,Engineering,andotherdepartmentstoimproveassemblyprocessesandworkflow.
- Maintainaccurateassemblysetupandproductiondocumentation.
- Ensureemployeesconsistentlyfollowcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andqualitystandards.
- Highschooldiplomaorequivalentrequired;technicaldegreeortrainingpreferred.
- Previousexperienceinan assembly,manufacturing,orproductionenvironment .
- Strongunderstandingofassemblyprocesses,equipmentsetup,operation,andbasicmaintenance.
- Abilitytotroubleshootmachinery,equipment,andproductionissues.
- Knowledgeofmanufacturingsafetyproceduresandregulations.
- Previousexperienceleading,training,coaching,orsupervisingproductionemployees.
- Abilitytoreadandunderstand blueprints,workorders,BOMs,routers,andmanufacturinginstructions .
- Strongorganizationalandproblem-solvingskills.
- Clearandprofessionalverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
- Comfortableworkingcross-functionallywithproduction,scheduling,engineering,andmanagement.
- Basiccomputerproficiency,includingemail,productiondatasystems,MicrosoftWord,andExcel.
