Automotive Mechanic Helper NA-05

Duties
Assists senior mechanics in performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a variety of combustion-powered vehicles.
Performs removal and replacement of standard automotive parts such as spark plugs, belts, hoses, brake shoes, water pumps, and mufflers under direct supervision.
Aids in making crucial vehicle settings and adjustments, including setting engine idle and timing, adjusting brakes, and gapping spark plugs.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by strictly observing all environmental, safety, and security protocols.
Utilizes standard and metric automotive hand and powered tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
