Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT certification, LSRT licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI unit
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating call required on nights and weekends
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — a temporary LSRT is accepted and typically takes 3–5 days to issue once the fee is paid and proof of ARRT is submitted
• Ability to start IVs required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Hunter green scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
