The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is a strategic, results-driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The Sales Specialist possesses a deep understanding of account-based selling, a proven ability to build and maintain strong total office relationships, and a collaborative mindset to support cross-functional initiatives. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions for customers, and exceed performance expectations. Demonstrating a strong business acumen, the Sales Specialist will effectively manage territory resources, share best practices with internal team members, and align goals with organizational targets.

Essential areas of responsibility include building rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with regional team members and key external contacts, providing healthcare product demonstrations, consulting with physicians and medical office staff to promote products, strategically managing and growing relationships with key accounts, regularly reviewing sales data to create effective territory plans, maintaining a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges, and achieving all sales performance goals.

Your skills and experience should include a bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, a minimum of 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience, pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred, proven record of accomplishments in the specific market, demonstrated interpersonal skills, well-developed written and oral communication skills, ability to interact with healthcare providers in both face-to-face and virtual environments, knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing, new product launch experience preferred, broad therapeutic area experience particularly in the therapeutic area, ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening, valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Travel requirements include regular travel, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel. Current territory boundaries include Downtown Chicago and NW Indiana (Merrillville and Munster). Territory boundaries are subject to change based on business need.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 $160,000 annually. This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan.
