Senior Tax Expert - income taxes (all genders)

Overview We are looking for a Senior Tax Expert (m/f/d) to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in the core area of income taxes (national and international). The role will start as soon as possible. Work Arrangement We embrace a remote-first approach, allowing you to work in a hybrid model or entirely on‑site depending on your proximity to one of our locations (Munich, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin). Responsibilities Deal with direct taxes and related compliance consulting both domestically and internationally. Prepare and file income tax returns for the corporate group domestically and internationally in collaboration with external advisors. Provide income tax advice to affiliated companies. Support national and international tax audits. Provide advice on transfer pricing and prepare local and master files. Maintain and improve the tax CMS. Provide advisory support for M&A projects. Monitor national and international legislative initiatives impacting the group, including BFH and ECJ case law. Qualifications Substantial experience in tax consulting (e.g., several years at a law firm, large tax consulting firm, or a company’s tax department). Broad knowledge of income tax compliance with a willingness to continually expand this knowledge. Knowledge of income tax group structures. Strong self‑management skills related to compliance deadlines across various countries. Strong teamwork skills, as well as an analytical, structured, and quality‑oriented approach to thinking and working. Very good German and English language skills. Proficiency with various IT programs, such as Excel, Microsoft D365, etc. What is a Plus (but Not a Requirement) Initial experience in the industry.
