Job Description
VCA Apex Animal Hospital is hiring a full time Registered Veterinary Technician (or RVT eligible) to join the team at our AAHA-accredited practice!

\nWe are an AAHA-accredited canine and feline practice with a caring and supportive team. We offer Primary Care, Surgery, Dentistry and more. Our hours are Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5pm, Saturday 8am - 2pm, closed Sunday.
\n \nOur great location close to US 1 and Hwy 540 is convenient to downtown Apex, Holly Springs, Cary, Raleigh, and Fuquay Varina. We have a large property and share our building with a large animal hospital. We operate separately, but the horses and goats they see can certainly make our day more interesting!

\n \nWhat You’ll Do
\nThe Veterinary Technician role will allow you to take the skills you've learned as a new graduate or experience you’ve gained over the years in this profession and put them to great use in our hospital. One year of experience in veterinary medicine and proficiency in the skills listed below are ideal, but happy to train the right candidate and Veterinary Technology Students encouraged to apply .

- Laboratory work \n
- Venipuncture \n

- Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals \n

\n \nCompensation: $21.00 - $22.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
\n \nSchedule: Full time, weekend rotation required.
