**Exciting Opportunity at MSK**: The Berger Laboratory, affiliated with the Center for Molecular Oncology (CMO) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), is seeking a **Computational Biologist** to join our interdisciplinary team. Our lab brings together experimental and computational scientists to characterize genetic mutations in human tumors, with the goal of identifying biomarkers of cancer progression and therapeutic response. Leveraging massively parallel next-generation DNA and RNA sequencing, we develop and apply cutting-edge methods to profile patient-derived tumor tissue and circulating tumor DNA.while collaborating with experts in computational biology, genomic technologies, molecular pathology,**Role Overview****Key Qualifications**Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) dataProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or equivalentWorking knowledge of genomics pipelines and best practices for NGS data analysisExperience using version control systems (e.g., GitHub)Excellent written and verbal communication skills**Core Skills**Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within collaborative teamsAbility to clearly communicate complex analytical results to diverse audiences**Preferred Qualifications**Experience in cancer genomics researchFamiliarity with DNA and RNA sequencing analysisLocation: 323 E. 61 #J-18808-Ljbffr MSK
