Job Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The position requires providing care for patients experiencing multi-system trauma, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatric, and psychiatric conditions in a high acuity Level II Trauma environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with multi-system trauma and other emergency conditions.
- Administer medication and treatment per protocol.
- Perform routine and emergency medical procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team for patient management.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of emergency or critical care experience in a Level II trauma center.
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC systems preferred.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Competence in trach care, vent care, ICU drips, chest tubes, and other critical care skills.
