- Physical Therapist Job Summary: The Orchards at Harper Woods, a premier healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate and professional care, is seeking a certified and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at The Orchards at Harper Woods, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve optimal physical function, alleviate pain, and improve overall well-being. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients with diverse physical challenges and conditions
- Conduct initial patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need and set realistic treatment goals
- Design and deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions, including exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic modalities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established guidelines and regulations
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital, outpatient, or long-term care setting
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan
- Certification in physical therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or equivalent
