Assist Living Manager

Job Overview Location: Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living. Oak Crest seeks a dynamic Assisted Living Manager to lead and inspire the success of our Assisted Living Neighborhoods, serving up to 65 residents. In this role, you will build meaningful partnerships with residents, their families, and team members to create a supportive, engaging, and person-centered environment that enhances residents’ quality of life. Responsibilities Lead a holistic, person‑centered approach to assessment and service/care planning. Conduct pre‑residency assessments and screening of potential residents and recommend appropriate level of residency. Evaluate psychosocial and ADL needs of residents and coordinate care and services as needed. Communicate changes in the plan of care and residents’ condition to residents and families. Provide individualized psychosocial support via family meetings or support groups and assist in transition to higher level of care. Partner with Independent Living and Post‑Acute Social Workers to develop support groups, educational programming, and manage transitions. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training in long‑term care/assisted living preferred; education may be considered in lieu of experience. Experience with elderly care and understanding of the dementia process and its impact on daily living and activity programming. Knowledge of geriatric population and aging process. Meets state‑specific requirements for management certification of assisted living and/or personal care facilities within 90 days of hire. National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (ADCP or ADC) as required by the state; preferred certifications include ACC, CDP, or CTRS.
