Staff Accountant

SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for a motivated and analytical accounting professional to join our client’s team in a key contributor role as a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will report to the Senior Accountants and will be responsible for performing the accounting functions for the company and providing monthly operating information. Responsibilities: Partner with team members to ensure accurate accounting practices, including revenue tracking and compliance with reporting standards Play a key role in managing the monthly financial close and associated processes Work closely with Financial Planning & Analysis to develop and deliver meaningful financial reports and operational insights Maintain financial integrity by ensuring adherence to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards Contribute to internal and external reporting initiatives with timely and thorough analysis Support external audit activities through coordination and documentation Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist in consolidation processes Help establish and refine accounting policies and internal procedures Tackle complex accounting questions by researching and preparing position memos Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing process enhancements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting 1 – 4 + years of relevant accounting experience Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced Excel skills; experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, a plus Prior exposure to the healthcare industry, helpful but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr SHR Talent
