Fiber Technician

GridSource is seeking a Fiber Technician in Spartanburg or Greesville, SC to join our team!

$3000 Sign on Bonus!

We will train qualified candidates with previous Fiber or Cable installation experience.

Must have a truck, van or suv

What you'll do:

• Perform Residential Fiber installations
• Observe all safety rules and regulations
• Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested
• Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers
• Accountability/dependability (on time and on load when scheduled and serve on call as needed)
• Asking relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions
• Assume all other duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• Technician must have a Truck Van or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and 28' ladder
• Comfortable working at heights no greater than 25'
• Must be able to safely move and lift up to 80lbs.
• Technician must have their own tools (drills and standard telecommunications hand tools). to perform the job.
• Technician must have lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel.. Other equipment may be required by local management
• Must work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Must pass background check and drug test
