THE ROLE

As a Fine Dining Server at Valentino, you are the face of our guest experience. You will guide guests through our seasonal Italian menu and wine pairings with confidence, poise, and genuine enthusiasm. This is a part-time, dinner service position ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver an exceptional, personalized dining experience from arrival to farewell
• Present and describe menu items, specials, and wine pairings with expertise and enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate seamlessly with the kitchen
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs with attentiveness and discretion
• Maintain thorough knowledge of our Italian menu, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods
• Follow all steps of fine dining service standards throughout each course
• Set, reset, and maintain tables to Valentino's exacting presentation standards
• Collaborate with bussers, food runners, and kitchen staff as a cohesive team
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and grace
• Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1–2 years of server experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
• Genuine passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality
• Polished communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of wine, Italian culinary traditions, and service etiquette — a strong plus
• Ability to remain composed and attentive during high-volume dinner service
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed
• Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
