USA|Procurement Specialist 2

Our client, a leader in the power generation industry, is seeking a USA|Procurement Specialist 2 to join their team. As a USA|Procurement Specialist 2, you will be part of the procurement department supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: USA|Procurement Specialist 2

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $30+ per hour

Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

What's the Job?

• Focus on tactical execution of schedules related to purchased materials at multiple suppliers for manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with global and local project management and supply planning teams to ensure effective planning and execution.

• Monitor procurement lists, follow up on order confirmations, progress, and quality compliance.

• Support transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with logistics teams.

• Lead technical clarifications with engineering, suppliers, and quality engineers to ensure project success.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science or Arts, with relevant certifications such as CPM or CPIM preferred.

• Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing, material requirement planning, or related fields.

• Advanced knowledge of Power Generation products and supply markets is preferred.

• Technical proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.

• Solid experience with SAP system, particularly the Buy module.
