Status: Full Time Non-Exempt [HOURLY], 40 hrs per week with flexibility for overtime as needed

Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEM’s. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced EHS Team Member to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled EHS Team Member to join our team. As a EHS Team Member , you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and protocols to ensure a safe working environment in our manufacturing facility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement preventative measures.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive safety programs and policies to promote a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Assist with conducting regular safety inspections and audits of manufacturing facilities, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess safety risks associated with manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities.
• Recommend and implement engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate safety risks.
• Provide safety training to employees on proper work practices, emergency procedures, and use of safety

equipment.

• Support investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, helping to identify root causes and implementing preventive measures to reduce the risk of recurrence.
• Maintain safety records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to workplace safety, incorporating relevant updates into company policies and procedures.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability among all employees, promoting adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• High School Diploma Required.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in safety management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proven track record of support towards developing and implementing effective safety programs and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
