Escrow Assistant

A company in Oklahoma City is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team throughout residential and commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and operational support, ensuring files are accurate, deadlines are met, and exceptional customer service is delivered to clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist Escrow Officers with opening, processing, and closing escrow transactions. Prepare and maintain escrow files, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate. Order title commitments, payoff statements, tax information, surveys, HOA documents, and other closing-related items. Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys regarding transaction status and required documentation. Prepare escrow documents, closing packages, settlement statements, and closing disclosures. Schedule closings and coordinate signing appointments. Review incoming documents for completeness and compliance. Maintain accurate electronic and paper files throughout the transaction. Receive and disburse funds in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, copying, and data entry. Assist with post-closing activities and file auditing as needed. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial and personal information. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of escrow, title, mortgage, real estate, or closing experience preferred. Strong understanding of escrow processes and real estate transactions preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with escrow software and title systems is a plus (SimpliFile). Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
