Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Homewatch CareGivers of Charlotte and Mooresville provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care that supports clients’ safety, comfort, and independence. CNAs deliver hands-on personal care while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Support safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning

Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily routines as outlined in the care plan

Observe, document, and report changes in client condition promptly

Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and privacy

Follow all Homewatch CareGivers policies, care plans, and safety protocols

Qualifications:

Current, active CNA certification in the state of North Carolina

Ability to provide hands-on care safely and professionally

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Dependable, punctual, and responsive
