Packaging Operator IIOperates an automatic machine to package a variety of products according to customer specifications.Essential Job Functions:Reviews work orders to determine packaging requirements.Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.Loads product into packaging machines, monitors machines for proper function.Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards.Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.Sets up/changes over equipment for corresponding orders.Performs basic equipment maintenance including inspections, cleaning, lubing as needed.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required. May participate in HCP.
