Installer

As an Installer, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements, installing and setting up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems. You will assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings, perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment, coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution, adhere to safety protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to understand installation requirements.
• Install and set up various types of equipment, including machinery, electronic devices, or industrial systems.
• Assemble and integrate components according to provided instructions and technical drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.

Essential Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various tools for correct installation.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and installation.
• Attention to detail and precision in equipment setup.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in equipment installation may be required.
• Previous experience as an equipment installer for 5-7 years.
• Knowledge in sheet metal and blueprint reading.

Work Environment:

Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and clean environment. The normal schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, but due to demands, significant overtime may be required.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Henrico, VA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
