Joe V Smart Shop’s eCommerce team will help define how we shop online, shaping customer experience, driving impact, improvement, and innovation to create a truly frictionless online shopping experience as we launch and grow our online business. This position may be based in Dallas or San Antonio and requires a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office. Responsibilities Oversee financials for JVSS eCommerce and manage its strategy, profitability mix, and execution. Help drive product content, maintain a critical eye for customers, and analyze web KPIs/user behavior. Manage assigned special projects. Assist in the development of the overall profitability strategy for the online shopping experience. Maintain a relentless critical eye for all things related to UX; remove friction across the purchase funnel as much as possible. Develop expertise in online merchandising and related best practices. Establish and manage relationships, partner with the Merchant team to understand business strategy, implement programs, provide merchant update reports, and create product collections/web home page. Review moderate KPIs and web behavior metrics to generate data‑driven insights and actions. Manage assigned product recommendations, basket builders, and trade‑up strategies; recommend product enhancements. Stay current on trends and competition; help develop online competitive analysis as needed. Maintain flow of products and seasonal flips while analyzing yearly offering holistically. Requirements A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience. 3+ years of experience related to online merchandising/marketing. Experience in analytics (financial analysis preferred). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Intermediate analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects/tasks. Ability to operate with high energy, flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment. Ability to use data to influence decision making. Initiative and self‑motivation.
