Housekeeping Aide | Long-Term Care Facility We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper / Environmental Services Aide to join our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, well‑presented facility. Housekeeping Shift: Part‑Time | Full‑Time Housekeeping Requirements Minimum 10th grade education required Must be able to read, speak, and write in English Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience preferred Knowledge of general cleaning procedures, sanitation techniques, and infection control practices Ability to work courteously and diplomatically with residents, patients, and staff at all times Must successfully pass a thorough background check/screening Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, bending, and lifting Housekeeping Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping and environmental services tasks per established cleaning procedures and assigned work schedule Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furniture and surfaces Clean and disinfect floors, bathrooms, and common areas as directed Perform terminal/discharge cleaning when a resident is transferred or discharged Conduct spot checks of vacant rooms; clean and sanitize as needed Follow all facility safety, infection control, and OSHA guidelines when performing tasks and handling equipment and supplies Clean and maintain supply carts and housekeeping equipment Respect resident rights and personal property at all times; report all found articles to supervisor Assist with inventory of resident personal belongings as assigned Attend departmental meetings, in‑service training, and on‑the‑job educational programs as scheduled What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, hands‑on management A culture of appreciation and recognition Ask about our daily pay option! #J-18808-Ljbffr Luxor Healthcare
