Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring strip interpretation skills and on-call availability.

Details

Cath Lab/EP unit performing approximately 8 cases per day
Uses EPIC EMR and Maclab systems
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
No float requirement
Weekend coverage handled via on-call rotation only
On-call responsibilities average one weekday night per week and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time
Call rotation every 3rd week and weekend
Holiday coverage consists of 1 major or 2 minor holidays, covered by on-call

Requirements

Active VA or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification (must be AHA) and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips
Epic EMR access/experience required

Additional Information

Floor orientation lasts 1 week
Maroon scrubs are provided
Must reside within a 50-mile radius; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
Previous permanent employees may return 12 months after their last shift worked
