HVAC Project Manager

HVAC Project ManagerLead HVAC projects from initial proposal and sale through project completion.Drive business development through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building with commercial and industrial clients.Develop project estimates, proposals, presentations, and system recommendations.Support HVAC system design and equipment selection.Identify customer needs and recommend HVAC solutions aligned with project budgets and timelines.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets.Monitor project progress and ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment.Coordinate engineers, installers, subcontractors, technicians, millwrights, administrative staff, and other stakeholders.Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, budgets, and project reports.Ensure projects comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, and building codes.Maintain long-term client relationships and support repeat business and referrals.Provide post-installation customer support and address project-related concerns.Identify opportunities for value-added services, system upgrades, and additional customer requirements.Mentor junior staff and share technical, project management, and sales best practices.Stay current with HVAC technologies, systems, and industry trends.Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Maintain professional communication and relationships with customers, subcontractors, technicians, and internal teams.Make timely project decisions and resolve issues affecting project execution.3-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, project management, or a related mechanical contracting field.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.Proven experience managing HVAC projects from start to finish.Knowledge of HVAC design, installation, and mechanical systems.Experience with airside HVAC systems.Knowledge of chilled water systems.Knowledge of steam systems.Knowledge of heating systems.Experience with HVAC project estimating and proposals.Experience with contracts, pricing, change orders, budgets, and project documentation.Familiarity with project management tools and CRM platforms.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.Professional and respectful customer-facing presence.P.E., E.I.T., or HVAC-related certifications are a plus.Ability to pass a criminal history background check.Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceDisability insuranceEmployer-matched 401(k)Ongoing training and professional developmentSafety training programs
