Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students’ communication needs in a school-based setting near Augusta, KS. This part-time role is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials, eager to make an impact with middle and potentially elementary students. This position is set to start in August 2026 and continue through May 2027, offering consistent hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, totaling approximately 15 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
• Current, active state licensure as an SLP (license must be submitted prior to placement consideration)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary or middle school level
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability as caseload details and locations are being finalized

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy for students, supporting IEP goals and individualized needs
• Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and collaborate with educational teams
• Deliver services primarily to middle school students, with possible support for elementary-aged students
• Participate in meetings and communicate progress to staff and families
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and district protocols
