Work You’ll Do As a Data Architecture and Governance Manager within the business-aligned GES Technology group, you will oversee all aspects of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and operations. You will be responsible for defining the target-state data architecture for data and analytics, enterprise data models and embedding governance practices that improve data quality, compliance, and business value. You will have the opportunity to partner with a team of experienced product owners, product managers and leaders from other key workstreams in the practice and will be supported by a team of experienced practitioners. Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, data models, standards, and roadmap aligned to business and analytics priorities.Lead the design of scalable, secure, and modern data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, semantic layers, and integration patterns.Establish and operationalize data governance frameworks covering data ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage, quality, privacy, retention, and access controls.Partner with business, engineering, security, and analytics leaders to prioritize data domains and enable trusted, high-value data products.Create and enforce architecture principles, reference models, and design standards for structured and unstructured data.Drive master data, reference data, and common data model strategies to improve consistency across systems and reporting.Oversee data quality management, including rules, controls, monitoring, issue remediation, and governance forums.Guide the selection and implementation of data governance, catalog, lineage, and quality tooling.Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements relevant to data management and usage.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data architecture and governance team and implement best practices.Develop and enforce data security policies to protect sensitive information and comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.Monitor and assess data security risks and vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate them.Train and develop your team of data professionals. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,025 to $198,375. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
