Position Overview We are on the lookout for an adept and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to become a vital member of our expanding team of imaging professionals devoted to delivering top-notch patient care. Leveraging advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, work alongside a supportive team of clinicians, and provide vital information to ease patient worries with prompt and precise imaging results. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures, clearly communicating each step with empathy and professionalism.
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
- Keep accurate documentation of procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system.
- Update knowledge of ultrasound imaging advancements and best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
