QC Manager – Precast Concrete

The Encompass Group is partnering with an established precast concrete manufacturer in the Greenfield, IN area to identify an experienced QC Manager to lead its quality function.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the technical side of precast concrete quality control but is equally comfortable developing a team, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards across a manufacturing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and develop the Quality Control team, with a broad supervisory scope across the operation.
• Oversee quality processes related to precast concrete production, testing, and inspection.
• Provide technical oversight of concrete mix designs and testing .
• Ensure compliance with PCI and ACI standards and help lead preparation for PCI audits.
• Oversee steel and rebar inspections and other critical quality checkpoints.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the QC function and overall manufacturing process.
• Partner closely with production teams while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Remain hands-on with technical QC responsibilities while providing leadership and direction to the team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Direct experience in precast concrete quality control is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PCI standards, audits, and requirements .
• Experience with concrete mix design, testing, and inspection.
• Knowledge of ACI standards and concrete testing procedures.
• Experience with steel and rebar inspections.
• Previous experience leading, supervising, and developing QC professionals in a manufacturing environment.
• ACI certification preferred.
• PCI Level I certification preferred; additional PCI certifications are a plus.
