Key responsibilities Design and implement scalable APIs and complex business logic using Scala and Java Support distributed systems, version control with Git, and build tools like Maven while ensuring data integrity and security Engage in requirements analysis, system architecture design, and performance optimization of backend services Required qualifications Technical training, certification(s), or degree with 5+ years of relevant experience 10+ years of hands-on Java software development experience 5+ years of hands-on Scala programming development expertise Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies like OpenShift
