Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact as an Occupational Therapist supporting Extended School Year (ESY) services for a student in a 1:1 setting at a residential hospital near Hampstead, NH. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children thrive in educational and therapeutic environments. With services anticipated to continue into the 26/27 academic year, you'll play a critical role in shaping positive outcomes for a student beginning their journey with OT.

Key Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience working in school settings, especially with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with 1:1 therapy, preferably in hospital, residential, or specialized environments
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with hospital staff and other professionals
• Ability to provide creative, student-centered therapy, adapting strategies as needs evolve
• Flexibility and patience to support students who are new to services and require gradual introduction to OT

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized OT services to a male student at a residential hospital, adhering to IEP goals and best practices
• Coordinate directly with hospital staff to schedule and tailor sessions that fit the student's evolving needs
• Begin sessions within small, manageable time frames, progressing based on the student's comfort and responsiveness
• Maintain thorough documentation of progress, adapting plans as necessary
• Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and empathy when working with a sensitive population

Work Schedule:

• Sessions on Mondays and Fridays between 8:15 am and 2:30/3:00 pm, with flexibility as determined by student and facility needs
