Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in or around Spokane Valley, WA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Weld mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum according to blueprints
- Inspect welded parts for accuracy and quality
- Follow all OSHA and WISHA safety requirements
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment
- Communicate machinery or quality issues to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow both written and verbal instructions to complete assignments
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficient in shop math and problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physically capable of regularly lifting up to 30 lbs and frequently up to 50 lbs
- Must pass weld check
