Job Title: Technician Job Description

As a Technician, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, and repairing HVAC units within the Homebuilder Division. You will ensure professional communication with customers, managers, and sales engineers to efficiently schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. You will install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural gas applications and ensure safe procedures for checking gas connections. During the summer months, you will focus on servicing and rebuilding used HVAC units, whereas, in the winter months, your primary responsibility will be installing HVAC units. Mechanical aptitude is essential for this role.

• Deliver, install, and repair HVAC units for the Homebuilder Division.
• Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
• Install flexible gas hoses on propane and natural gas applications.
• Implement proper and safe procedures to check gas connections.
• Service and rebuild used HVAC units during the summer months.
• Install HVAC units during the winter months.
• Maintain accurate records and track in-stock and rented equipment with managers and sales engineers.

• Experience in HVAC service and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude and repair skills.
• Installation and electrical maintenance technician skills.
• EPA certification.

• Hands-on experience with HVAC or a mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic electrical experience preferred (willing to train).
• Ability to lift up to 88 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
