Field Premium Auditor

Conduct insurance premium audits in the field to determine actual exposures and premiums charged for policy coverages Audit policyholder records and apply rules and company standards Perform field audits for organizational accounts and resolve applicable disputes Conduct timely and accurate premium and service audits examining financial records Manage audits of various sizes and complexity, partnering with a mentor or supervisor on complex accounts Deliver excellent customer service throughout the audit experience Resolve technical issues with reviewers, underwriters, and agents Communicate with customers, agents, and external constituencies throughout audits Communicate audit findings and changes in premium exposures to insureds, agents, and company personnel Clarify voluntary and physical audit status with insureds Consult with NCCI/WCIRB and other independent bureaus on classification and technical issues Present audit inventory status regularly to management Maintain current premium-auditing knowledge through internal and external resources Examine policyholder payroll records and operations Record and summarize payroll and classifications used to determine premiums Analyze insured business operations to determine appropriate classifications and exposures Work from home and in insureds' clerical office areas, with travel to insured locations for audits Requirements Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required with a major or emphasis in Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 1-2 years of related experience and/or training in premium audit required Current driver's license required Working knowledge of Commercial Lines policies, including Workers' Compensation and General Liability Experience working with
