Speech Language Pathologist in Peoria, AZ

Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract with a school-based speech-language pathology opportunity near Peoria, AZ, supporting K-12 students as part of a dedicated educational team. Desired Background and Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
IVP fingerprint clearance card
Valid driver's license
Previous school-based experience is essential
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Proficiency in assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in line with student needs
Deliver direct therapy services to support communication and language development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to optimize student learning outcomes
Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of student progress and therapy provided
Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions
