Switchboard Assembly Operator - 2nd Shift Location: Pomona, California, United States of America Shift: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am (3 months training on 1st shift) Pay: $19.98 per hour plus $0.40 shift differential. Position Overview: Assemble and/or modify electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools and blueprints. Process work orders via computer and scanning devices in accordance with the production schedule or expedited orders. Read and interpret documents related to mechanical assembly assignments (blueprints, bills of materials, one‑line diagrams, etc.). Fasten component parts on cubicles, frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies. Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and a safe working environment. Basic Qualifications: Basic computer skills and familiarity with mechanical/measuring tools. English language proficiency (speaking, reading, writing). Physical ability to stand, reach, grasp, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull, slide heavy material, stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. Minimum age of 18 years. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to learn all equipment operated in the facility and follow established processes. Legal authorization to work in the United States permanently without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading blueprints. Experience operating large industrial machines.
