Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Provide intensive, comprehensive care and monitoring for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients experiencing shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must list the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used within a single role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
