For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants.** **JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS**The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at the Penn State Mont Alto Campus has openings for part-time instructors in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program for the **Fall of 2026.**# Job Duties* Clinical instruction of students in all levels of the program at various clinical site locations. Areas of practice include medical-surgical, critical care, community health, pediatrics, maternal-child, mental health, and geriatric nursing.# Requirements and Qualifications* *A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a related Graduate degree and recent clinical experience is required.*Please submit a letter of application and resume electronically at ** *Candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.* Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled. **BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES**This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. **CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS**Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
