As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Carson, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor entry points, and assist with routine patrols to help discourage incidents. DayTimeSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors entering or exiting the location according to post orders and established security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or materials to help support orderly operations and follow documented screening and inspection guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
