Shift: 1st Shift | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $26.50/hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Crating Specialist for a 1st shift opportunity in Jackson, WI. This is a hands-on position, and the hiring team is selective about candidates being submitted.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and prepare crates for products and materials being shipped.
- Safely package and secure products for transportation.
- Use nail guns and staple guns to assemble crates and packaging.
- Operate a forklift to move products and materials throughout the shipping area.
- Prepare orders for shipment and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure orders are properly secured.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all shipping, production, and workplace safety procedures.
Required Experience
- Previous nail gun and/or staple gun experience is required.
- Forklift operating knowledge/experience is required.
- Previous shipping, crating, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Mechanically inclined and able to perform hands-on work.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Dependable with a strong attendance record.
- Able to work the full 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM schedule.
Candidates must have nail gun or staple gun experience along with forklift knowledge to be considered.
