Procurement Specialist

Job Summary The Procurement Specialist performs a wide variety of duties to provide assistance and support to the team, ensuring efficient and effective purchasing processes. This role is crucial in maintaining strong supplier relationships and contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies in an expedited manner. Process and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timely Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement needs are handled expeditiously. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and invoice discrepancies. Onboard and maintain accurate supplier information in the company's ERP system. Support the negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers. Perform basic purchasing training for new users. Prepare and analyze basic procurement reports and data. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
